Evaluation and treatment of a broad range of rheumatological diseases (including, but not limited to rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, systemic sclerosis, inflammatory myopathies, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, non inflammatory musculoskeletal conditions).

Intraarticular | Soft Tissue Injections

We routinely perform corticosteroid injections into soft tissues and into the peripheral joints and we also use hyaluronic acid or viscosupplementation injections for the knee joint. We routinely use ultrasound guidance for the hyaluronic acid injections, but also often use ultrasound guidance for more difficult joints or small compartments such as tendon sheaths. We also inject soft tissue structures, periarticular and intraarticular structures with Prolotherapy.

Musculoskeletal ultrasound

The advance and use of musculoskeletal imaging is an exciting injury assessment technique that can present new opportunities to help in the care of patients. Each day many individuals experience musculoskeletal pain causing frustration and stress in daily life. Many individuals have a hard time finding relief from previous injury and are unsure of treatment options.

In-house laboratory

For the convenience of our patients, we have a fully certified laboratory within our practice. Our patients can get their labs drawn on the same day as their office visit. Some results may be provided before the end of their office visit.
