Who We Are

Cabrillo Center for Rheumatic Disease (CCRD) is a rheumatology clinic led by Dr. A. Ray Mabaquiao who specializes in systemic rheumatic diseases involving organ systems such as the heart and blood vessels, lungs, kidneys, joints, muscles, skin, and nerves. We also treat musculoskeletal disorders involving tendons and bursae, muscle and myofascial pain, and metabolic disorders such as gout, pseudogout, osteoporosis, and musculoskeletal complications of diabetes.

CCRD is dedicated to providing a high level of care in a compassionate manner for patients with rheumatic disease. In addition to our comprehensive physical examination, our office is equipped with a full array of diagnostic modalities that include laboratory testing, radiography, and musculoskeletal ultrasound in order to aid diagnosis and effectiveness of therapy and to help provide each patient with an individualized plan of care.

We utilize current standard of care treatments, newer and the most recently FDA approved medications, as well as therapies only available in clinical trials to accommodate patient’s needs and preferences.
