A. Ray Mabaquiao, MD
Dr. Mabaquiao is a board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology.
After finishing his undergraduate degree in Physical Therapy in 1990 Dr. Arthur “Ray” Mabaquiao worked for a year before moving onward. He graduated from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in 1995 and then completed an Internal Medicine residency at the University of California, Irvine in 1998. He finished his Rheumatology fellowship in 2000 at UCI as well. He moved to San Diego in 2002 and has been in his private practice since 2005.
Dr. Mabaquiao takes pride in his state of the art clinic work with intravenous and other injectable biologic therapies as well as musculoskeletal ultrasound examinations and guided injections.
His desire to practice “cutting edge” medicine and to further his field blends well with his clinical research studies with TriWest Research Associates.

Ara Dikranian, MD
Dr. Ara Dikranian is Board Certified Rheumatology
Dr. Ara Dikranian has been practicing rheumatology in San Diego and the Imperial Valley since 2004. “Dr. D,” as he is known to his patients, comes from a long family line of health care providers, following in the footsteps of his father, grandfather and two uncles. His enthusiasm, compassion and love for rheumatology are greater today than ever before. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in psychobiology in 1991 and his M.D. in 1995, both from the University of Southern California. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine, and fellowship in rheumatology, at the University of California, San Diego between 1995 and 2000, when he received his rheumatology board certification. He has enjoyed the clinical practice of rheumatology as well as his participation in scores of rheumatology related clinical studies. He has served as chairman of the Arthritis Foundation San Diego chapter executive committee following years of volunteering at the previously sponsored free clinics, and more recently as part of the San Diego County Medical Foundation’s Project Access. He is privileged to be a consultant and speaker for various pharmaceutical companies. He is an avid traveler and an aspiring gastronome.

Timothy (Tim) Lazarek, FNP – C
Timothy Lazarek is a Family Nurse Practitioner
Timothy (Tim) Lazarek earned his BSN Nursing with focus on Critical Care and Emergency Nursing from Niagara University, Niagara Falls, NY. In 1999 he graduated from California State University, Carson, CA with MSN Nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner.
He is also known for his:
